I recently learned about this company called DonorsChoose.org when we were given a $25 gift card. What a great idea! There is a huge list of education projects that you can choose to donate to. The website makes it very easy to drill down based on the things that are important to you – location, highest need, type of project (like health or science or technology), age and more.
We used our $25 to help a local Asheville school provide a comfortable reading area for elementary school children with autism. You can read about this project here.
